About the Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council

Who We Are

The Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council (APRCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Puerto Rican heritage in Aurora, Illinois and surrounding community.

For more than 50 years, APRCC has brought families, youth, and community leaders together through cultural festivals, scholarship initiatives, pageantry, and year-round programming that promotes pride, leadership, and civic engagement.

Rooted in tradition and driven by community, APRCC continues to serve as a cultural anchor for Puerto Rican heritage in the Auroraland region.

What We Do

• Host the annual Aurora Puerto Rican Heritage Festival
• Organize the Aurora Puerto Rican Pageant
• Provide scholarship opportunities to support local students
