Celebrating Puerto Rican culture in the Auroraland area

The Doroteo Arroyo & Juan Ruberte Scholarship

The Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for our annual scholarship program for the academic year 2026-2027!

Purpose: Our aim is to provide educational opportunities to individuals who demonstrate excellence and financial need.


Eligibility: Students who are currently enrolled, returning, or planning to enroll in a community college, university, or trade school in the United States are eligible to apply, provided they have a current cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must be enrolled as either a part-time or full-time student during the 2026–2027 school year and must reside in Aurora or within a 50-mile radius of Aurora. In alignment with APRCC’s mission of advancing educational equity, we value and celebrate multicultural representation and invite all eligible students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds within our community to apply.
